Hi there! Nice to meet you.
I'm Ametat, a female full-time freelance illustrator in my 20s. Working in Procreate on the iPad Pro, I hand-paint highly detailed and large-scale fantasy, sci-fi, and furry scenes - with a large helping of dragons!
With a background in Zoology, I'm always inspired by the natural world, local myths and legends, medieval history, dramatic landscapes, RPG games, and Dungeons and Dragons.
I love to regularly attend many large-scale fantasy and furry conventions! A few past and upcoming include Confuzzled, Core Element, Wild North, Aberacon, Scotiacon (pictured left), Dragonmeet, New Forest Fairy Festival, and more!
I work on a wide variety of private and commercial commissions.
A few examples include the book covers for Sherrie A. Bakelar's Lady Warrior Saga,
Creative Staff for Wild North (an anthro fantasy and LARP-ing convention) making medieval-inspired decor and convention book covers,
Splash/loading screens and wallpapers for Glyde, an upcoming retro-inspired dragon platformer,
I'm also a creative partner for Arenanet's Guild Wars 2, painting regular pieces inspired by the characters and stories of Tyria.

I specialise in large-scale products that complement my detailed art style and more panoramic pieces.
A few examples include fantasy and furry prints and stickers, and large, high-quality deskmats/playmats - perfect for PC gaming, or using for TCG tabletop cardgames. I also create large canvas medieval-inspired dragon wall scrolls, and custom Fursuit ID/character portrait printed on PVC cards, embedded with an NFC chip link of the customer's choice. This one's a favourite at conventions, where cosplayers and fursuiters are everywhere!
All of my current products containing my artwork are manufactured in the UK by other small businesses, or made completely in-studio by me! I print all of my canvases and PVC ID cards myself - and to a large product supply scale!
